Knights of Columbus members Mitch Skagerberg (right) and Mike Diaz carry a painting of Mother Mary at the head of Saturday morning’s Maui March for Life along Kaahumanu Avenue in Kahului. About 100 people participated in the solemn procession that ended at Christ the King Church. “She was the ultimate defender of pro-life,” Skagerberg said. “When her parents told her not to have the child, she did. We show there is a way that they can keep the baby.”
