Meth, pot, bullets, fireworks found

A 33-year-old Pukalani man was arrested Wednesday after police reported finding crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, pills, bullets and aerial fireworks in searches of his residence and vehicle.

Shaun Dennis was charged with two counts of being a felon in possession of ammunition, two counts of third-degree promoting of a dangerous drug, fourth-degree promoting of a harmful drug, two counts of possessing aerial fireworks, two counts of third-degree promoting of a detrimental drug, four counts of possessing drug parpahernalia and keeping ammunition in an improper place.

His bail was set at $36,000.

Police Crime Reduction Unit officers went to Dennis’ residence on Alea Place to execute search warrants for him and his residence Wednesday morning, according to police. Dennis gave officers permission to search his vehicle, which was parked in front of the residence, police said.

According to court records, Dennis has prior convictions for first- and second-degree criminal property damage and unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
