A festival of color
Andrea Stancu of Romania is bathed in color as she poses for Sorin Merosu during Color Festival Hawaii held Saturday at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Events Lawn. Celebrating the spirit of inclusion, the idea that we are all the same under the rainbow, the festival was presented by Imua Family Services.
The Festival of Colors is an American version of a traditional Indian Holi festival where friends and family throw and apply colored powders on one another.
Kaia Johnson, 6, showers a crowd dancing to the music of Anuhea and posing for photos while riding on the shoulders of her father, Duke Johnson, Saturday at the MACC.
