Flags at half-staff for shooting victims

At the direction of President Donald Trump, Gov. David Ige has ordered that the U.S. and the Hawaii state flags be flown at half-staff at the state Capitol, offices and agencies, as well as the Hawaii National Guard from Saturday through sunset Tuesday to honor the victims of the mass shooting in Virginia Beach, Va.

The action is a sign of respect for the victims of the mass shooting in Virginia, where 11 public servants and one member of the public were killed Friday, a state release said.
