Boy falls into pool, taken to hospital
A 3-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Saturday after being found unresponsive in a Kaanapali pool, according to the Maui Fire Department.
At 4:57 p.m. Saturday, crews received a call about 3-year-old boy who had fallen into a pool at Kualapa Place in Kaanapali. The boy was blue and not responding when pulled from the water. When fire and EMS units arrived, the boy was breathing but not responding to verbal stimuli. He was treated at the scene by medics and taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center for further care.
