Dui Sentences

THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of June 26 to July 11. The listings include the offender’s name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Joseph Alconcel Jr., 55, Kahului; DUI; $250 fine, $437 in fees.

Ibrahim Beg, 40, San Diego, Calif.; DUI, lack of due care; $250 in fines, plus fees.

Lorne Boyd, 39, Makawao; DUI, third-degree promoting of a detrimental drug; two-day jail term, $100 fine, plus fees.

Christopher Cagney, 42, Hana; DUI (third offense within five years), driving without a license, inattention to driving; 20-day jail term, $1,200 in fines, plus fees.

Christopher Finch, 30, Paia; DUI (second offense within 10 years), driving without a license, inattention to driving; 30-day jail term (25 days suspended for six months on condition of no further violations), $1,250 in fines, plus fees.

Lee Kronvall, 49, Kula; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.

Ariel Labuguen, 54, Kihei; DUI; $150 fine, 72 hours of community service, plus fees.

Javier Navarro, 37, Wailuku; DUI (second offense within 10 years); five-day jail term, $500 fine, plus fees, three-year license revocation.

Cole Nolan, 32, Waiehu; DUI (second offense within five years), open container, driving without a license, inattention to driving; five-day jail term, $600 in fines, plus fees, three-year license revocation.

Edgar Perez, 37, Kahului; DUI; $150 fine, plus fees.

Saido Hussein Sheikh, 39, Wailuku; DUI (second offense); five-day jail term, $1,000 fine, plus fees.
