Woman arrested in car robbery, attack

A Wailuku woman was arrested on a robbery charge for pulling a woman out of her car and punching her before driving off with the vehicle, according to police.

Bail was set at $2,500 for Sierrarose Seward, 26. She was charged with second-degree robbery.

The victim reported she was asleep in the driver’s seat of her 2012 Toyota Camry at about 1 p.m. Saturday while the car was parked in the 2500 area of Kahekili Highway, when Seward opened the door and pulled the other woman out by her hair, according to police. The victim was on the ground when Seward punched her a few times, police said.

Seward drove off with the vehicle, police said.

She was arrested shortly before noon Sunday at Kanaha Beach Park in Kahului.
