Aloha House gets $203,000 grant
Aloha House, a nonprofit residential substance abuse treatment program, has received a $203,000 donation from the Arlene and Michael Rosen Foundation of Tiburon, Calif.
This donation will be used for improvements to a home for participants in the Sober Living Program and for the purchase of a seven-passenger van to be used to transport clients. A portion of the funds also will be put toward the construction of a new Coordinated Services Facility for Aloha House and its partner agencies, Maui Youth & Family Services and Malama Family Recovery Center.
The three organizations provide residential and outpatient behavioral health and related services to more than 5,000 people in the Maui community each year.
