Metals and electronics recycling for East Maui residents is set for 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 3-5 at the Hana Landfill, according to the Maui County Department of Environmental Management.

Metal items to be accepted include large appliances, up to 15 auto tires, auto batteries, propane tanks and scrap metals.

Appliances accepted include refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning units, watercoolers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges/stoves and water heaters.

Electronic items accepted include computers, keyboards, monitors, printers and televisions.
