Alexis Ah-Kee (left) and sister Lanna pose with their pumpkins at the Emmanuel Lutheran School Pumpkin Fest on Friday evening in Kahului. Dad Peter Ah-Kee said they were going try their hands at a Halloween tradition. “We’re going to make our first jack-o’-lantern,” he said. “We’re playing it by ear.” The pumpkins at the one-day fest were from Kula Country Farms.
