Sailing to spread anti-nuke message

The Golden Rule sets sail from Maalaea Small Boat Harbor toward Lanai, continuing to spread the message of the dangers of atmospheric testing of the hydrogen bomb that devastated the Marshall Islands in 1958. The 36-foot anti-nuke boat also offers a remembrance of the first nuclear bombs dropped over Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. This photo was taken Sept. 30.
