ML&P logs $9,000 loss
Maui Land & Pineapple Co. reported a net loss of $9,000 for the third quarter, compared with a net loss of $1.6 million in the same quarter last year, the Kapalua-based company said Wednesday.
Total revenues for the July-to-September quarter were $3.4 million, compared with $2.8 million for the same period in 2018.
The company, which has relied on real estate sales to boost the bottom line, had no sales in the third quarter.
For the nine months that ended Sept. 30, ML&P reported a net loss of $1.3 million or 7 cents per share, compared to a net loss of $3.2 million or 17 cents per share in 2018. The company reported total operating revenues of $9.4 million compared to $8.3 million last year.
