THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of Feb. 10 to 13. The listings include the offender’s name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.
Wailuku District Court:
Rush Jaimes, 19, Wailuku; DUI, excessive speeding; $850 in fines, plus fees, 36 hours of community service.
Lyndel Naki, 38, Lahaina; DUI, driving without a license; four-day jail term, $474 in fees.
Roscoe Quint, 23, Makawao; DUI; $500 fine, $437 in fees, two-year license revocation.
Gavin Shimizu, 41, Kahului; DUI; $350 fine, $437 in fees.
Michael John Thomson, 61, Kihei; DUI; $350 fine, plus fees.
