Man indicted on sex counts

A Wailuku man is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail after he was indicted on charges alleging he sexually assaulted two girls.

Trinity Vinuya, 32, has pleaded not guilty to four counts each of first-degree sexual assault and third-degree sexual assault, as well as promoting pornography for minors.

The sexual assaults occurred from August 2015 to July 2017 while both girls were under age 14, according to the indictment. The girls are related to Vinuya.

An April 6 trial is set for Vinuya in 2nd Circuit Court.
