Maui County sole COVID-19 case Saturday
State health officials reported that Maui County has the state’s sole COVID-19 case Saturday, a day after no new cases were reported and totals were adjusted for the counties due to updated information.
Maui County ticked up to 118 as of noon, and the state rose to 643.
Hawaii County stayed at 81, Honolulu County remained at 414 and Kauai County stayed at 20.
Of Hawaii’s 643 total cases, 10 have been residents diagnosed out of the state.
There have been 17 fatalities and 84 people have required hospitalization.
In all, 589 people have been released from isolation and 49,572 tests have been performed.
Tracking by the state Department of Health began Feb. 28.
