Hunting season starts Wednesday
The state Department of Land and Natural Resources has been issuing hunting licenses and stamps since June 15 for the new hunting season set to begin Wednesday and running through June 30, 2021.
A valid hunting license is required for hunting on public and private land.
Hunters may purchase their licenses and stamps at Division of Forestry and Wildlife district offices or by credit card, using a computer with an internet connection via the state website at www.ehawaii.gov/huntinglicense/.
Licenses are $20 for residents, $105 for nonresidents and $10 for senior citizens and patients of Kalaupapa. Stamps are $10.
