25 new cases reported, all on Oahu

The state Department of Health reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, all on Oahu.

That brings the statewide total to 1,023, including 744 on Oahu, 128 in Maui County, 93 on Hawaii island and 40 on Kauai. A total of 18 residents have been diagnosed out of state.

Of the total cases, 777 have been released from isolation and 118 have required hospitalization.

There have been 19 deaths, including 13 on Oahu and six in Maui County. The most recent death was announced Friday, an elderly adult on Oahu who was hospitalized with multiple underlying health issues, the state said.
