Hawaiian flights to Pago Pago still off

Hawaiian Airlines is allowed to continue its suspension of flights to Pago Pago, American Samoa, through Aug. 31 by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The department granted the airline’s request for exemption from its obligations under CARES Act airline service obligations.

The Governor of American Samoa, Lolo Matalasi Moliga, concurs with the decision, the department news release Wednesday said.
