THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of July 21 to 31. The listings include the offender’s name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Taysha Ako, 28, Kula; DUI; $1,000 fine, plus fees, 240 hours of community service, two-year license revocation.

Eduarda Daniel, 58, Kihei; DUI; $250 fine, plus fees.

Danny Gumboc, 27, Kahului; DUI; $250 fine, plus fees.

Leo Holmes, 44, Haiku; DUI, excessive speeding; two-day jail term, $800 in fines, plus fees, 36 hours of community service

Leonard Hunt, 45, Wailuku; DUI; $250 fine, $437 in fees.

Stephen McGrail, 50, Kihei; DUI; $250 fine, $437 in fees.

Richard Nichols, 64, Kihei; DUI; two-day jail term, $250 fine, plus fees.

Pearl Patterson, 50, Kahului; DUI; $250 fine, plus fees.

Valentine Ragudo Jr., 49, Kahului; DUI, driving without a license; five-day jail term (three days suspended), $600 in fines, plus fees, 18-month license revocation.

John Roarty, 42, Kihei; DUI, lack of due care; $350 in fines, plus fees.

Spencer Ruhland, 27, Paia; DUI; $250 fine, plus fees.

Dwayne Sula, 35, Pukalani; DUI; $250 fine, plus fees.

Andrea Thayer, 30, Kihei; DUI, lack of due care; $350 in fines, plus fees.
