Rapid virus testing to be offered at the Shops at Wailea on Saturday
The Maui News
Doctors On Call will be offering rapid drive-up COVID-19 testing at The Shops at Wailea from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Participants should enter The Shops at Wailea parking lot at 3750 Wailea Alanui Drive via the north gate by Island Gourmet, according to an announcement. They should bring a valid ID, health insurance card and a credit card for payment of $63.
For safety reasons, patients must remain in their cars, where a nurse will conduct the Quidel Rapid Test, which Doctors On Call Maui co-founder Dr. James Barahal said is FDA approved.
Patients will be called within 15 minutes with their results.
Testing slots are limited; to register ahead of time, visit docmaui.com to be directed to the registration site. Once registered, print out the registration packet and email the completed forms, along with a copy of a valid photo ID and insurance card, to email@example.com, or bring them to the event. Patients must fill out their credit authorization form so that the clinic can charge for the testing.
Those who are unable to complete the forms should call 667-7676 and leave a detailed message with their name, phone number and date of birth. The clinic will return the call before testing.
Rapid COVID-19 testing will also be available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Doctors On Call’s clinic at Times Market Place at 3350 Lower Honoapiilani Road, #211.
