Dui Sentences

THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of Sept. 4 to 11. The listings include the offender’s name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Wailuku District Court:

Ryan Baltes, 34, Waihee; DUI; $250 fine, $437 in fees, two-year license revocation.

Eison Bernardo, 24, Pukalani; DUI, driving without a license; five-day jail term, $1,250 in fines, $499 in fees.

Rudy Castro, 25, Kihei; DUI (second offense), no insurance; five-day jail term, $2,000 in fines, plus fees, two-year license revocation.

Teofilo Diaz Inestroza, 51, Haliimaile; DUI; $250 fine, five-day jail term (four days suspended), plus fees.

Cheryl Hutton, 71, Pukalani; DUI; $250 fine, plus fees.

Johnny John, 27, Kahului; DUI, inattention to driving; $350 in fines, plus fees.

Joshua Keen, 27, no local address; DUI, inattention to driving; two-day jail term, $350 in fines, plus fees.

Kayo Martens, 45, Wailea; DUI; $250 fine, $437 in fees.

Hana District Court:

Stephen Dickey, 31, Hana; DUI, driving without a license; $100 fine, 33 hours of community service, plus fees, two-year license revocation.
