Physical therapy clinic opens
First photo: Pediatric Therapies Hawaii founder and Executive Director Dr. Amy Peterson pushes daughter Jenee, 5, on a suspension platform swing in the nonprofit’s new 355 Ho’ohano Street office in Kahului following Tuesday morning’s blessing ceremony. Peterson said it felt “great” to open Maui’s first pediatric physical therapy clinic. “The space is great,” she said. “The patients have been loving it. One boy said he wants to move in here.” She said the clinic features state-of-the-art equipment, advanced treatment techniques and “a team of excellent therapists helping children to reach their full potential.” Climbing behind Peterson is daughter Gabrielle, 7.
