Maui woman drowns at Kaanapali
A 52-year-old Maui woman was pronounced dead Tuesday after she was found floating about 10 feet from shore at Kaanapali Beach, according to the Maui Fire Department.
Lahaina firefighters, responding to the 12:48 p.m. call fronting the Sheraton Maui Resort, arrived to find the woman on the beach with bystanders performing CPR.
She was pronounced dead by medics.
