Two county pools will close to the public for four days in February to allow the Maui Fire Department to hold training sessions, the Department of Parks and Recreation announced Thursday.

MFD plans to train at Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool on Feb. 16 and at Coach Spencer Shiraishi Pool from Feb. 17 to Feb. 19.

Reservations for public lap swimming will not be available on those dates.
