Active cases at jail remain at 25
The number of active COVID-19 cases among inmates remained at 25 at the Maui Community Correctional Center, with two negative test results reported Friday, according to the Department of Public Safety.
As of Friday, 18 inmates were in medical isolation and 68 were in quarantine at the Wailuku jail.
Of 566 inmate tests administered, 534 were negative, 29 were positive and three were inconclusive, the department reported. Four inmates who tested positive have recovered.
No staff at the jail have reported testing positive for COVID-19.
