Maui youth join ‘March Against Menthol’

About a dozen people participated in the sign waving, which was part of a statewide event calling on state lawmakers to include menthol-flavored cigarettes in a proposed ban on flavored tobacco products. “Our goal is to try to put menthol back in the bill because menthol is one of the worst flavors,” said Aubrey, a sophomore at Kamehameha Schools Maui.
