Meeting to discuss digital zoning map

An online public informational meeting on the proposed digital zoning map for Molokai will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, the county Department of Planning announced.

Staff will provide information on the county’s digital mapping project, which includes converting old paper zoning maps to a digital format and correcting inconsistencies and errors. The meeting will include a presentation of the proposed Molokai digital map.

The map will be reviewed by the Molokai Planning Commission on May 26, with additional meetings as needed. Once the commission completes its review, the map will be sent to the Maui County Council for adoption.
