More test negative at jail, no cases active

The number of COVID-19 cases at the Maui Community Correctional Center remained at zero, following reports Thursday of 23 negative inmate test results and 42 negative staff results.

Since Feb. 1, 94 inmates and two staff members have recovered after contracting COVID, the state Department of Public Safety reported.

There were 170 inmates in quarantine Thursday at the Wailuku jail.
