Richard Hubbard prepares to vaccinate Renee Gilsdorf of Lahaina during Thursday’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic inside the University of Hawaii Maui College Pa’ina Building. Gilsdorf said it felt “amazing” to receive her second dose of vaccine. “I wish it had been done long ago,” she said. “I wish everybody would do it.” In the background is Spc. Tierney Phelps. The next state Department of Health vaccination clinics at the college are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday next week. There is also one scheduled for April 10 at King Kekaulike High School. To schedule an appointment, contact the Maui District Health Office at 984-3780 or email DOH.MDHOcovid19clinics @doh.hawaii.gov.
