THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of May 4 to 6. The listings include the offender’s name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Wailuku District Court:

Tyler Feiteira, 26, Wailuku; DUI; $250 fine, $437 in fees.

Kamalei Hapakuka, 37, Kula; DUI; two-day jail term, $250 fine, $437 in fees.

Carena Kirkendoll, 36, Lahaina; DUI, driving without a license; $1,250 in fines, $474 in fees, 15-day jail term (suspended for one year), two-year license revocation.

Sterling Sandler, 19, Kula; DUI; $350 fine, $437 in fees.

Junior Sheriffe, 32, Haiku; DUI (second offense), driving after license suspended or revoked for DUI; five-day jail term, $1,250 in fines, two-year license revocation.

James Watts, 37, Kihei; DUI (second offense); five-day jail term, $1,000 fine, plus fees, two-year license revocation.
