Information sought in Pukalani burglary
Police are asking for the public’s help in an investigation into a burglary last week at the Pukalani Country Club maintenance shop.
Two males broke into the building at 1:44 a.m. April 25 and stole property including a Yamaha gas-powered golf cart and a 2005 white Ford F-350 flatbed truck, according to police.
The truck with license plate 689 MDA is described as a single cab with wood side panels. It may have front or rear-end damage. Its driver’s side mirror was broken off when the truck was likely used to ram open gates, according to police.
Also stolen were Shindaiwa string trimmers or weed whackers and a Dewalt 20-volt battery-operated tool set.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call police at 244-6400.
Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Maui Crime Stoppers at 242-6966. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of people responsible for felony crimes, the recovery of stolen property or seizure of illegal drugs in felony cases or the capture of felony fugitives.
