First photo: University of Hawaii Maui College Nursing Program graduates pose for a photo following Thursday’s pinning ceremony at the Kahului campus. A total of 41 student nurses graduated from the program. Graduates Eunice Bea and Danielle Vanderlaan said the plan is full speed ahead. “We’re going to takes our boards, pass them on the first try, get our Bachelor’s and then get jobs,” Bea said. Wailea Community Association has pledged to cover the travel expenses and the exam fees for all 41 graduates to fly to Oahu to take their boards, UH officials said.
