• Methamphetamine arrest. Three pounds of methamphetamine would be 13,000 doses if sold in quantities of one-tenth of a gram, Deputy Prosecutor Tracy Jones said Monday during a preliminary hearing for Michael Bascar, 59, of Haiku. The wrong quantity was included in a story published Tuesday on Page A3.

• Kahoma Village. Lance Collins, attorney for the Protect and Preserve Kahoma Ahupua’a Association and others, said that his clients had offered to sit down with Maui County and Stanford Carr Development after an Intermediate Court of Appeals judgment in favor of the plaintiffs. That meeting never occurred, as Collins said he believed the defendants had wanted to wait for the outcome of a Hawaii Supreme Court decision first. A story that ran on Tuesday on Pages A1 and A4 named the incorrect party that had been waiting on a decision.
