COVID-19 at a glance

Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Friday reported 69 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 27 on Oahu, 25 on Hawaii island, 13 on Maui and four residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 36,471 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 27,233 on Oahu, 4,664 in Maui County (4,470 on Maui, 115 on Lanai and 79 on Molokai), 2,996 on Hawaii island and 324 on Kauai. A total of 1,254 residents have been diagnosed out of state.

• No new deaths were reported on Friday. There remain 501 fatalities statewide, including 388 on Oahu, 55 on Maui, 53 on Hawaii island, two on Kauai and three residents who died out of state.

• As of Friday, 58 percent of all residents in Kauai County had initiated their vaccination process, followed by 56 percent each in Maui and Hawaii counties and 54 percent in Honolulu County.

• Gov. David Ige announced that starting June 15, all restrictions on intercounty travel will be lifted. Travelers entering the state who have been vaccinated for COVID-19 in Hawaii will also be exempt from quarantine.
