Free pastries offered at vaccine clinic

The University of Hawaii Maui College will hold two COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week that include the offer of free pastries for the first 40 people.

The walk-in clinics will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Pa’ina Building. The first 40 people who come to the back door of the building and show their vaccination cards will receive a complimentary pastry baked by UH-MC Advanced Baking students.

UH-Maui will continue to host walk-in clinics throughout the summer that are open to everyone ages 18 and older. Both the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the two-dose Moderna vaccine will be administered.

Upcoming clinics will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on June 30, July 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15.
