Nonprofit to host car wash fundraiser

Maui AIDS Foundation will be hosting a car wash fundraiser from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday at the Ohana Fuels location at 85 S. Wakea Ave. in Kahului.

Funds raised will help support the nonprofit’s community programs in Maui County.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance or on-site. In honor of Father’s Day, tickets for dads are $9.

Guests should wear masks and observe social distancing protocols. To purchase tickets in advance, visit www.mauiaids.org.

Community members can also support Maui AIDS Foundation by filling up their gas tanks at any Ohana Fuels location on Maui until June 30 as part of the Ohana Fuels “Fuel Up. Do Good.” program.

Orchestra seeks input on reopening

The Maui Chamber Orchestra is administering an online survey this month to determine respondents’ preferences and comfort level with respect to in-person rehearsals and performances during the 2021-22 season.

The survey is intended for audience members, performers, donors and staff members. It will take an estimated five to seven minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and all questions are optional.
