Corrections

• Hotel moratorium. A bill by Maui County Council Vice Chairwoman Keani Rawlins-Fernandez regarding a visitor accommodations moratorium for Maui has been sent to the Maui Planning Commission. The panel has until Sept. 7 to take it up and schedule a public hearing. The bill would then head back to the council’s Planning and Sustainable Land Use Committee. Committee members could then vote to refer the bill to the full council for two readings.

The bill’s process through the County Council in a story that began on Page A1 Sunday and continued to A5 was incorrect due to an editing error.

• Food distribution. Hawaii Human Resources Manager of Sensei Ag is Scott Pisani. His last name was misspelled in a story that began on Page A1 and continuing to Page A4 on Monday.
