False positive tests at jail

The number of active COVID-19 cases at the Maui Community Correctional Center went back to one Thursday, after retesting of two inmates who were reported to have positive test results the day before, according to the state Department of Public Safety.

It was determined that the two results Wednesday were false positives, the department reported.
