Over 100K uploads for SMART card
There were 101,199 successful uploads to the Hawaii SMART Health Card application, from Sept. 10 to Thursday, the Office of Enterprise Technology Services reported.
This is about 75 percent of all attempts to create a Hawaii SMART Health Card. This is the success rate expected, according to the news release. The Office of Enterprise Technology Services will continue to analyze the data to see how the success rate can be improved over time.
The City and County of Honolulu’s Safe Access Oahu and Maui County’s Safer Outside programs are accepting the Hawaii SMART Health Card as proof of vaccination.
Obtaining a Hawaii SMART Health card is voluntary. Individuals who are not able to generate a SMART Health Card QR code can always show businesses the original, hard-copy, or photo of their vaccine document.
