COVID-19 at a Glance

Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Wednesday reported 127 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 68 cases on Oahu, 29 on Hawaii island, 11 on Maui, five on Kauai and 14 residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 81,790 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 56,621 on Oahu, 10,527 in Hawaii County, 9,671 in Maui County (9,296 on Maui, 235 on Molokai and 140 on Lanai) and 2,436 on Kauai. A total of 2,535 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

• Six new deaths were reported Wednesday; the statewide fatality count is now at 851.

• Honolulu County is averaging 97 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 2.8 percent, followed by Hawaii County at 31 cases and 4.8 percent, Maui County at 14 cases and 1.9 percent and Kauai County at 13 cases and 3.2 percent.
