Maui County to host Halloween drive-thru

Maui County will host a free “Halloween Drive-Thru Adventure” at Keopuolani Park from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.

Event highlights will include Maui Classic Cruisers’ vintage car showcase, LahainaTown Action Committee’s popular Mystery Maze and a pumpkin patch. Treat stations will be staffed by volunteers from the county and community partners.

“Trick-or-treating is A-OK throughout Maui County for this year’s Halloween,” Mayor Michael Victorino said in a news release Thursday.

The event is open to the public and no reservations are needed.

Participants can enter the drive-thru adventure by making a right turn on Wahinepio Avenue onto Keopuolani Parkway. A keiki buckle-up area will be available for families with babies and young children so youngsters can get safely back into their car seats and boosters before exiting onto Kanaloa Avenue.

For more information, call the Office of the Mayor at (808) 270-7855.
