Surfers enjoy clean waves at Hookipa Thursday. A large northwest swell was expected to fuel more high surf for Maui and Molokai through today, with waves of 14 to 18 feet predicted along north-facing shores of both islands and surf of 10 to 15 in the forecast for west-facing shores of Molokai, according to the National Weather Service.
