High surf declining along Molokai, Maui
A high surf advisory for Molokai and Maui has been extended through 6 a.m. today, the National Weather Service announced.
While the current northwest swell is declining, advisory-level surf was still expected Thursday night, the weather service said. Surf was expected to lower from 18 to 24 feet to 10 to 15 feet along north-facing shores of Molokai and Maui, and decline from 14 to 18 feet to 7 to 10 feet along west-facing shores of Molokai.
