Bissen to meet with residents in Kula

Mayoral candidate Richard Bissen will hold a meet-and-greet at the Kula Community Center at 5:30 p.m. today.

The former 2nd Circuit Court chief judge plans to speak with residents on his platform of “kama’aina propserity,” which includes kama’aina housing, good-paying kama’aina jobs and the collective kuleana needed by all to care for the health of the environment, according to news release from Bissen’s campaign on Tuesday.

Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning artist Napua Greig will provide live entertainment, and chili and rice bowls will be provided while supplies last. There will also be door prizes and booths with more information on Bissen’s platform and opportunities for residents to register to vote.
