Some 600 meals were served by the Salvation Army at the University of Hawaii-Maui's culinary arts cafeteria on Wednesday in observance of Thanksgiving. The occasion in partnership with the university's culinary school has been taking place for several years, and includes volunteers from the Salvation Army. The sitdown meals are served to people in the community including those in need and those requiring shelter.
