Hawaiʻi State Senate President Ronald D. Kouchi, who represents Kauaʻi and Niʻihau, will undergo two outpatient medical procedures — cataract removal and a tendon sheath adjustment in his hand — this week.

A news release says Kouchi is expected to fully recover in one to two days from each routine procedure.
