Maui County offices, facilities and services will be closed or modified on Feb. 17 for the Presidents’ Day holiday.

Closures include all county offices and pools, the Lahaina Resource Center at Lahaina Gateway, the Recovery Permit Center at the Maui County Service Center in Kahului and the

Hana, Molokai and Lanai landfills.

The Central Maui Landfill and Maui EKO Compost will operate on condensed hours from 6 a.m. to noon, and the Olowalu Recycling & Refuse Convenience Center will be from 8 a.m. to noon.

Residential trash pickup and the Maui Bus schedule will not be affected. Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume Feb. 18.
