Lahainaluna Music Department has set a $30,000 fundraising goal after many of the instruments and equipment used by students were destroyed in the August 2023 wildfire, leaving the program in a difficult position.

“In order to continue providing a high-quality music education to our participants, it is imperative that we replace these essential items as soon as possible,” the music department wrote on a fundraising website post.

Each participant in the program has been tasked with a monetary goal to help raise the necessary funds for new instruments and equipment. As of Wednesday morning, the page had raised $4,723 on a $30,000 goal for the group. For more, go to bit.ly/43qz9og.
