Malama Nui to focus on marine conservation with speaker series
Malama Maui Nui’s Talking ʻŌpala environmental speaker series will continue Aug. 26 with two speakers as part of its ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness.
Brianna Simon, outreach supervisor and conservation biologist for the Pacific Whale Foundation and Cheryl King, founder of the SHARKastics project, specializing in marine debris research, will focus on marine conservation, according to organizers.
The event will be from 5-6 p.m. at the Four Seasons ballroom.
