Pets of the Week: Baby and Pep
Aloha, kakou. We’re Baby and Pep, Maui Humane Society’s Pets of the Week. In December, we were in an accident with our owner that turned our world upside down. Baby bounced back with just scrapes and bruises, while I, Pep, had a fractured hip and spine and a few broken teeth. It was a tough time, and we were pretty scared when we first arrived at the shelter. But guess what? We’ve healed and our playful personalities are shining through! We love toys, treats and, of course, snuggling. Watching us cuddle is basically guaranteed to make you smile. Our owner still has a long recovery ahead, so now we’re searching for a loving home. We’d be over the moon to stay together, but if not, another friendly pup would help us feel safe. We’ve come so far, and we’re ready to go home, hopefully with you!
The Pet of the Week is submitted by the Maui Humane Society to promote adoptions at the Maui Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. For more information or to make an appointment, call (808) 877-3680, ext. 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday or visit MauiHumaneSociety.org.
